Throughout the year, Potter’s House also provides many other services for local residents such as free tax preparation; assistance with applications for OSHIP, Medicare, Medicaid, and HEPA; summer feeding and childcare programs for children; assistance completing FAFSA applications for college financial aid; assistance to those who experience disconnection from utilities; clothing for foster kids; and nutrition and financial responsibility classes.
In 2020, the group served more than 39,000 clients and distributed more than 400 tons of food. Local residents can help by donating new or gently used clothes for the Potter’s House foster care closet and by donating toys (new only) for Christmas.
