Student Recommendations

You have been asked by a graduating senior to complete the form below to provide a recommendation for them as an applicant for the annual Kiwanis Club of Portsmouth scholarship. The scholarship application is available to students interested in pursuing a degree at Shawnee State University. The winner of this scholarship will receive $1,000 toward the expenses of a college education. Your name will be submitted as a reference on the student’s behalf.

Please be as analytical and as objective as possible. The award will be made on the basis of scholastic records, character, leadership, aptitude, and community service.

We urge your prompt reply since the application deadline is February 28 of the year of graduation. All application materials must be received by this deadline.

Reference information will be made available only to those responsible for selecting the scholarship winner.
